Click on and Project OpenGetting StartedTent

Draw points

Draw a point at -40 -20

Draw a point at -20 -20

Draw a point at 0 -20

Draw a point at 20 -20

Select all points

Press Pick as the action

Press the right mouse button and select Select all from the menu

Copy the points

Press Move as the action

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and move the points up to 20

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and move the points up to 40

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and move the points to -40

Draw points

Press Draw as the action

Draw a point at -40 0

Draw a point at 20 0

Draw a line

Press Lines to draw lines

Click on points (in order) 5,6,7,8,17,4,3,2,1 using the left mouse button

Press the right mouse button and select Create Line from the menu

Rotate the view

Press View Rotate as the action

Press and hold the left mouse button in the graphics window

While holding the button down, drag to rotate the view as illustrated

Copy the line

Press Move as the action

Click on the line using the left mouse button

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and move the lines up to 20

Draw more lines

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Draw as the action

Draw a line at points 1,27,13

Draw a line at points 2,26,14

Draw a line at points 3,25,15

Draw a line at points 4,24,16

Draw more lines

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Draw as the action

Draw a line at points 12,22,8

Draw a line at points 11,21,7

Draw a line at points 10,20,6

Draw a line at points 9,19,5

Select point

Press Move as the action

Press Points to work with points

Click on point 23 to select it

Move point

Move the point up to 35

Draw a new point

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Draw as the action

Click on point 17 to move the 3D cursor to that position

Draw a point at -40 0 35

Draw more lines

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Draw as the action

Press Lines to draw lines

Draw a line at points 18,28,23,17

Draw a line at points 19,28,27

Draw a new point

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Draw as the action

Press Points to work with points

Draw a point at 40 0 0

Draw a new point

Draw a point at -60 0 0

Draw more lines

Press Lines to draw lines

Draw a line at points 30,28

Draw a line at points 23,29

Draw triangles

Press Triangles to draw triangles

Draw triangles for one side and roof as illustrated

Draw more triangles

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Draw as the action

Draw triangles for other side and roof as illustrated

Draw more triangles

Draw triangles for the front opening of the tent as illustrated

Rotate the view

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view to look at the back of the tent as illustrated

Draw more triangles

Draw triangles for the back of the tent as illustrated

Press Save to save the model
