Create the crank_balance model

Click on and Project OpenEngineeringEngineCrank Shaft

Add the models

Add the child models crank_bearing and crank_balance

Press Perspective button to change the view to Parallel mode (this will make child model placement easier)

Change the view to look from the side

Move the child model crank_bearing up to sit on top of the balance

Copy both models

Copy both models up as illustrated

Move the balance

Select and move the balance to be in the middle of the bearing as illustrated

Copy the models

Copy the models to make 4 sets as illustrated...

Stretch the end bearing

Stretch (scale) the end bearing and the top of the crank shaft to make it longer

Copy the end bearing

Copy the end bearing from the top to the bottom of the crank shaft as illustrated...

Rotate the balance

Select and rotate the balance and bearing set for cylinder number 2 around -90 degrees using point 0 (0,0,0) as the centre point for the rotation

Rotate the balance

Select and rotate the balance and bearing set for cylinder number 3 around -180 degrees

Rotate the balance

Select and rotate the balance and bearing set for cylinder number 4 around 90 degrees as illustrated...

Press Save to save the model
