Click on and Project OpenEngineering4 Wheel DriveWheel Section

Create the wheel points

Draw a point at 30

Draw a point at 20

Draw a point at 16

Draw a point at 6

Copy and rotate the wheel points

Select all 4 points (hold SHIFT key and click on each point)

Select Cursor as the action

Click on point 0 to move the cursor to the origin (point 0 = 0 0 0 )

Select Rotate as the action

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and rotate the points using 10 degrees

Repeat the copy and rotate using by 10 degrees each up to 90 degrees as illustrated

Draw the lines

Press Draw as the action

Press Lines to work on lines

Draw the lines as illustrated

Fit, Rotate and Select

Press Fit to re-center the model on the screen

Press View Rotate as the action

Rotate the view as illustrated

Press Pick as the action

Press Lines to work on lines

Hold the SHIFT key and click on the two biggest lines to select them both (they should change to yellow)

Copy the lines

Press Move as the action

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and move the lines up to 15

Select lines

Select the lines as illustrated

Move lines

Move the lines up to 13

Select and Copy

Select the line located at point 3

Copy (hold CONTROL key) and move the line down to 2

Draw triangles

Press Draw as the action

Press Triangles to draw triangles

Draw the triangles as illustrated

Draw triangles

Rotate the view as illustrated

Draw the triangles as illustrated

Draw triangles

Rotate the view as illustrated

Draw the triangles as illustrated

Draw triangles

Rotate the view as illustrated

Draw the triangles as illustrated

Create a new point

Press Points to work on points

Create a new point at 0 0 13

Draw triangles

Draw the triangles as illustrated

Press Save to save the model
